Happy New Year to all the bloggers out there! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas.
My New Year's resolutions are as always to get fit and finish some UFO's!
My friend at work has a birthday today so I got a couple of tank tops and embroidered on them for her - well my little Brother did - just love that machine.
Also finished my mouse for the mouse swap - it will be on its way to Queensland shortly. Pic as soon as it is received - no peeking Lyn!

ELVIS LIVES!!
My sister-in-law is an Elvis tragic - found this embroidery design so had to make it for her. Put light wadding on the back and stipple quilted though it's a bit hard to see in white. Now my presents are finished.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
All my presents delivered yesterday to the work girls. I am now on holidays yay! Merry Christmas to all the bloggers out there. Blogging is a recent discovery for me and I am enjoying it immensely. Getting to know some people in sewing land is fun. Enjoy the Festive Season and I hope you all get some time to sew sew sew xx

A GOOD WEEKEND'S PRODUCTION OF PRESSIES
Very pleased with my sewing output this weekend. All done - just add the odd box of choccies and girly stuff (soaps etc) and hey presto! Yes, we have a Trekky in our midst. Found this machine embroidery design so had to use it for Babsie - bit strange on a pot holder but it's a little different and something I know she will use. Thanks to my lovely Bernina and very clever little Brother - had so much fun!! Just hope the recipients like their gifts - hand made is so much nicer!

Lots of gifts still to make...
Well here it is my 15th wedding anniversary. Not exactly a romantic celebration, my husband is working night duty at the hospital! Oh well, nothing to do except sew! I generally try to make the girls at work a gift. Going to be a busy weekend of sewing - lucky the night duties continue and hubby is asleep during the day! Here's a softie star I made tonight combining machine embroidery as well. I kinda like it - funky yet Christmassy!

Shock, horror - finally finished my Auntie (and Godmother)'s quilt I promised her for her 70th birthday - only 11 months late!!! Hope she likes it. The pattern is from Anne's Glory Box and is called "Parisian Garden". Bought the kit several years ago at the Melbourne Quilt Show. One more quilt down, now the next one...
